PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved fastener support tool, a support collar, a fastener assembly, a strip of the support collar and the assembly and a fastener driving tool. SOLUTION: This fastener assembly includes the slender fastener and the support collar installed in the fastener. The support collar is formed so as to have the asymmetrical contour to mutual ones in both side surfaces of the fastener. Asymmetry may be asymmetry in the number, a shape, a position or the size of recessed parts existing on both sides of the fastener. A plurality of fastener assemblies may be provided as a fastener strip, and in the fastener strip, the respective support collars are joined to one or two adjacent support collars in the strip.
