PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of estimating cracking loads in high-strength fiber-reinforced concrete easily at low costs. SOLUTION: The method of estimating cracking loads of high-strength fiber-reinforced concrete includes: the process for creating a high-strength fiber-reinforced concrete cylindrical specimen (A); the process for mounting an AE sensor to an end face of the cylindrical specimen (B); the process for loading the cylindrical specimen for mounting the AE sensor conforming to "JIS A 1113 (method of testing crack tensile strength in concrete)" to measure generated AE (C); and the process for digitizing output of the AE sensor to AE waveforms, setting a threshold, and calculating AE energy of each event (D). The method of estimating crack occurrence loads of high-strength fiber-reinforced concrete estimates a load of which AE energy is maximized as a cracking load. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
