PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing petrified cremains ash, capable of manufacturing petrified cremains ash including only cremains or bone ash. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing petrified cremains ash, including a grinding process S1 for grinding the cremains ash of a cremated person or pet animal, a pressure reducing process S4 to have a pressure-reduced atmosphere in the circumferential atmosphere of an outer cylindrical crucible 22 provided with a melting crucible 21 in which only the ground cremains ash is charged, a melting process S5 disposed in the pressure-reduced atmosphere for melting the cremains ash 27 in the melting crucible 21, and a slow cooling process S7 for slowly cooling the petrified cremains ash 27 integrated by being melted in the melting process, the melting crucible 21 and the outer cylindrical crucible 22 are thermally insulated by a heat insulating material disposed between the melting crucible 21 and the outer cylindrical crucible 22 in the slow cooling process S7.
