PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire press fitting method in which the press fitting workability between aluminum electric wires is improved. SOLUTION: A sleeve 1 is a repair sleeve, made of resin used for caulking of a copper electric wire and constituted by covering outside of the body made of copper with a resin-made insulator. The sleeve 1 is compressed together with an aluminum core wire 22, in a state where the aluminum core wire 22 of the aluminum electric wire 2, inserted from either one end part of right or left into the insulator, is housed into the body, while the center part 11 of the insulator is pinched from the outside. After the two aluminum core wires 22 stranded together are covered with the sleeve 1, the center part 11 of the sleeve 1 is compressed, then the aluminum core wires 22 are caulked inside the sleeve 1 and the press fitted. The compressibility of the aluminum core wires 22 at the caulking position 3 is made either at a compressibility in the range of 50% to 85%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
