PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embossing technology for inexpensively embossing an embossed pattern that can effectively exhibit, on the rubber surface of an eraser, a visual action effect of stimulating a user's feeling of taste. SOLUTION: A molding roller 17 for embossing the embossed pattern E 1 on the surface of the eraser W extruded from a molding hole 15, and a backup roller 18(17) backing up the press-molding action of the eraser W by the molding roller 17, are arranged facing in a freely rotatable manner in positions close to the outlet side of the molding slit 15 of a die member 21 in a head part of an extrusion molding apparatus, and while the molding roller 17 and the backup roller 18(17) are rotated by the extruding force of the eraser W extruded from the molding slit 15 of the die member 21 to guide the travel of the eraser W, the embossed pattern E 1 of predetermined shape is embossed on the surface of the eraser W by the molding roller 17.
