PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged rice mass such that a cooked rice mass is housed in a package bag formed of a sheet prepared by putting a laver sheet between both of the inner and outer films, so as not to make adhesion between the films get in the way when unwrapping the packaged cooked rice mass with the opening of the package bag welded to be sealed. SOLUTION: The packaged rice mass is structured as follows: the welded/sealed part 7 of the package bag opening 13 is formed corresponding to the superimposed part at the inner ends of two film pieces 41, 42 forming an inner film 4, and comprises a weakly welded part 71 welded weakly to the extent that the welded/sealed part is easily peeled if pulled, and strongly welded parts 72, 72 formed corresponding to the other parts and not easily peeled even when pulled.
