PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster compressor increased in weight and suppressed in the size of the machine body. SOLUTION: The booster compressor includes a crank chamber 223 which is used to boost a compressed fluid from an external compressed fluid supply source and discharge the compressed fluid to the outside and defined in such a manner as to be isolated from the outside by a piston 222, a cylinder 14, and a crankcase 13, a crank chamber introduction passage for introducing the compressed fluid from the compressed fluid supply source to the crank chamber 223, and a relief valve 228 for releasing a pressure in the crank chamber 223 to the outside when the pressure in the crank chamber rises to a predetermined value or higher.
