PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance strength and stiffness of a hollow structure while controlling quantity of a foaming member to be used by scattering the stress generated in the hollow structure.
SOLUTION: A reinforcement 16 is fixed in a closed cross section 22 of the hollow structure 14 and each of both end portions 16A thereof is disposed at a corner 30 of the closed cross section 22. A clearance 36 is formed between a floor panel 26 (wall) constituting the corner 30 and each of both end portions 16A of the reinforcement 16. Within the closed cross section 22, a resin reinforcement member 18 having an open cross section 28 at least on the reinforcement 16 side is disposed. An end edge 18A on an open side thereof is disposed at the corner 30 of the closed cross section 22. Between at least the reinforcement member 18 within the closed cross section 22 and the hollow structure 14, the foaming member 20 is provided. The foaming member 20 is heated and foamed to invade into the clearance 36 for solidifying.
