PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sloped roof, recognized to be a roof of dark colors such as black, dark green, dark blue and gray when viewed from below not to cause incompatibility, presenting color of light colors such as white and silver when viewed from the incident direction of solar light, and having high reflectivity of solar light so that a roof is hardly heated to a high temperature.
SOLUTION: This sloped roof is so constructed that a long aluminum-alloy made roof material 7 is bent like a staircase to form step parts 7' at fixed intervals in the longitudinal direction, and the fronts 7a of the chips in the step parts 7' raised substantially vertically when it is laid on a roof board 3 are baked and painted black. Meanwhile, the parts outside of the fronts 7a of the chips in the roof material 7 are not colored to present silver while which is the ground color of the aluminum alloy.
