PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video recognition device by which an observer can recognize a planar video as a stereoscopic video with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: In the stereoscopic video recognition device 100, the observer can recognize the planar video as the stereoscopic video. The device 100 includes mirrors 10 and 20, and a mirror fixing section 30. The mirrors 10 and 20 have mirror faces 11 and 21, respectively. The mirror fixing section 30 fixes the mirrors 10 and 20 and includes a base 31 and support members 32 and 33 extending upright from the base 31. The sides of the mirrors 10 and 20 are attached to the support members 32 and 33, thereby fixing the mirrors 10 and 20 between the support members 32 and 33. The mirror face 11 of the mirror 10 is oriented obliquely downward in the direction of the rear of the paper face, and the mirror face 21 of the mirror 20 is orientated obliquely upward in the direction of the paper surface.
