PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent impairment of smoothness of operation of an idle speed control device by water generated in a bypass passage. SOLUTION: An intake device comprises a throttle body 10 incorporated into an intake passage 10A of an engine E, the bypass passage 8 connecting the upstream side and the downstream side of a throttle valve 11 arranged in this throttle body 10, the idle speed control device 12 interposed in this bypass passage 8 and controlling the air volume flowing in the downstream side of the throttle valve 11 via the bypass passage 8 in response to an engine state, and a water storage part 23 arranged on the upstream side of the idle speed control device 12 in the bypass passage 8 and comprising a space part communicating with the bypass passage 8.
