PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain noise by removing a clearance between conical compensating gears and output gears of a differential gear device using a conical gear.
SOLUTION: This differential gear device includes a differential housing 10 in which the two conical compensating gears 16 are rotatably supported around a first rotary shaft 20 and the two output gears 22 meshing with the conical compensating gears 16 are rotatably supported around a second rotary shaft 24 vertical to the first rotary shaft 20. In this case, a device 28 is arranged between the differential housing 10 and at least the output gears 22 and/or the compensating gears 16, and spring force is applied to these.
