PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixture of nonylated diphenylamines particularly containing dinonyldiphenylamine in large quantity used as an additive for stabilizing organic materials. SOLUTION: The mixture of nonylated diphenylamines contains a large quantity of monononyldiphenylamine and dinonyldiphenylamine, and a small quantity of trinonyldiphenylamine and diphenylamine. A process of producing the mixture comprises alkylating diphenylamine with an excess of nonene or a mixture of isomeric nonenes using an acid earth as a catalyst and in the absence of a free protonic acid.
