PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device enabling handover to a different radio communication network without causing deterioration in the quality of reproduction sound, that in the quality of a call, or the like. SOLUTION: The radio communication device includes: radio communication sections 31, 32, 34 connected to first and second radio communication networks 15, 16 to execute radio communication; an execution section 33 of an application of a real-time communication system; a jitter buffer 47 for absorbing jitter of the packet of the application; a communication quality acquisition section 35 for acquiring the communication quality of a radio link in a first radio communication network 15; a handover control section 36 for starting handover to the second radio communication network 16 from the first radio communication network 15, based on the obtained communication quality; and a control section 33 for controlling reproduction speed of the application, based on the number of stored packets in the jitter buffer 47.
