PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyeability-improving agent for polyester-based fiber materials, which can solve a problem of polyester oligomer adhesion, when dyed, and problems of dye staining and foreign matter staining.
SOLUTION: The dyeability-improving agent for the polyester-based fiber materials comprises a polyester copolymer which is obtained by polycondensing a dibasic acid component containing a dibasic acid having a sulfonate group in an amount of 15-65 mol% with a dihydric alcohol containing polyethylene glycol having a mol.wt. of 900-3,500 and has a mol.wt. of 3,000-30,000 and a polyoxyethylene chain content of 10-40 mass% in the molecule, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of styrenated phenol alkylene oxide adducts and higher alcohol oxide adducts.
