PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care cartridge for water works, which adds amino acids to water spouted from a water works edge such as a faucet or a shower, to imparts moisture retaining effect to the skin of the user when the user uses the water, wherein the skin care cartridge adequately controls the discharge amount of the amino acids, and slowly releases the amino acid in a stable manner without mechanical troubles. SOLUTION: The skin care cartridge for water works stores therein an amino acid slow releasing material which is made of a resin composition containing therein a water insoluble resin, a structural material, and the amino acids of one or a plurality of kinds, and having the component elements dispersed with respect to each other. The containing proportion of the amino acids in the resin composition falls in the range of 20 to 90 wt.%, and at least one of the structural material and the water insoluble resin is hydrophilic. Then the amino acid slow releasing material in the skin care cartridge is installed in a liquid flowing section in which service water flows. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
