PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fluorine-containing oligomer useful as a lubricant, and a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: The new fluorine-containing oligomer expressed by general formula (1) is produced using a fluorine-containing oligomer expressed by general formula (2), produced in advance, where in both formulae, R represents a 2-hydroxyethoxy group, dibenzylamino group or 1-pyrimidylpiperazine group; n and m each independently denotes an integer of 2-500.
