PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food processor, when slicing or cutting processing objects such as a carrot and a burdock into fine strips, capable of cutting it into equal-length pieces and providing processed objects with aesthetic appearance.
SOLUTION: When processing objects are inserted from a loading tube 17 provided in a cover body 15 mounted on a tray, this food processor reciprocatingly actuating a cutter plate 12 equipped with a processing blade by a drive part 18 and processing the processing objects, is characterized in that the loading tube 17 is formed into a rectangular tube body formed of one side portion 17a which is in parallel with the reciprocating direction of the cutter plate 12 and the other side portion which orthogonally crosses with the reciprocating direction, the central part of the other side portion of the tube body is formed into an outward-swelling arcuate portion 17d, the rectangular area consisting of one side portion 17a opposite thereto is formed into a rectangle wherein the orthogonal direction to the reciprocating direction is defined as the longitudinal side and, when the cutter plate 12 is reciprocating, the loading tube is disposed within a range where the processing blade sweepingly cuts.
