Crystallization method from an organic medium benzphetamine hydrochloride is disclosed. The method is to remove the water from the system to a very low level, then lower the temperature of the organic medium, by each stage to bring the crystallization of the salt. If crystallization during lowering of the temperature of the medium does not occur, gentle heating of the organic medium has been found to result in crystallization of the salt.
