PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bioremediation capable of reducing or eliminating variation in the remediation, and a system suitable for practicing the same. SOLUTION: The method for bioremediation is characterized by comprising the step of storing an object to be treated in an agitation tank and measuring the amount of the same stored therein, the step of supplying a microorganism in an amount determined from the amount of the object to be treated as measured above as well as a suitable amount of the microorganism necessary for treating a unit amount of the object to be treated obtained by a preliminary experiment to an object to be treated stored in the agitation tank, and the step of dispersing the supplied microorganism in the object to be treated by agitating and mixing the object to be treated with the microorganism in the agitation tank.
