PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine combustor capable of securing combustion stability within a range of operation load of a gas turbine using a low-quality fuel as its fuel, and to reduce concentration of soot dust generated in burning the low-quality fuel.
SOLUTION: This gas turbine combustor 3 is provided with a fuel spray nozzle device 60 for injecting the low-quality fuel to a combustion chamber, in the gas turbine combustor using the low-quality fuel including carbon residue as its fuel, the fuel spray nozzle device is provided with a swirler 52 at its outer peripheral side for swirling a part of the combustion air supplied to the gas turbine combustor to flow into the combustion chamber, its radial central portion is provided with a combustion air hole 65 for jetting the atomization air to the combustion chamber, and the fuel spray nozzle device is provided with a plurality of spray nozzles comprising fuel nozzles 70 for jetting the low-quality fuel and atomization air supply nozzles 71 disposed at an outer peripheral side of the fuel nozzles and jetting the atomization air for miniaturizing the low-quality fuel jetted from the fuel nozzles, at an outer peripheral side of the combustion air hole.
