PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified system and a modified method for producing composite or bonded metal components. SOLUTION: The system for producing the composite or the bonded metal components comprises first and second pressure chambers 1 and 2, each having an elastically deformable chamber wall, means to circulate fluid at an elevated temperature and pressure through the pressure chambers 1 and 2 and at least, one mold assembly 70 with at least, a separate mold part which provides a mold cavity where the composite or bonded metal lay-up 72 is arranged. When this system is in use, the pressure chambers 1 and 2 each retain the elastically deformable chamber walls integrally so as to allow the chamber walls to be opposed to each other. Further, at least, one mold assembly holds the lay-up 72 accommodated between the chamber walls and the fluid at an elevated temperature and pressure, is circulated passing through each pressure chamber 1 and 2 so that the lay-up 72 is compressed and cured or formed.
