PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-glare film which can suppress reflection and glare of outdoor daylight and can display a black image (an image of high bright room contrast) even under outdoor daylight. SOLUTION: The anti-glare film is constituted of an anti-glare layer 2 and a low refractive index layer 1 which is formed at least on one surface of the anti-glare layer 2 and which is consisting of a low refractive index resin and hollow silica particles. In the anti-glare film, internal haze is 0 to 1%, haze is 5 to 6.5%, transmission image visibility is 20 to 30% and hue of reflection light is adjusted so that a*=0.5 to 1.3 and b*=-2.3 to -0.5. The hollow silica particles may have a mean particle diameter of about 50 to 70nm and a refractive index of about 1.2 to 1.25. In the anti-glare film, the surface may have rugged structure and an average tilt angle of the surface may be about 0.7 to °1.
