PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin for electrophotographic toners having excellent storage stability and capable of maintaining good charge stability even in a high temperature and high humidity environment, and an electrophotographic toner containing the binder resin.
SOLUTION: The binder resin for electrophotographic toners contains a polycondensation resin obtained by polycondensation of an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component in the presence of a titanium compound and an amide compound and/or an amine compound. The electrophotographic toner containing the binder resin for electrophotographic toners is also provided.
