PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroforming press for manufacturing articles by internal high-pressure forming.
SOLUTION: A casing (2) in the hydroforming press (1) is composed of a tube (3) at the outside and a tube (4) at the inside connected to each other by shrinkage. Into the tube (4) at the inside, a tool support unit (6) composed of two tool supports (7, 8) for a tool (10) at the upper side and a tool (11) at the lower side in a forming tool (9) is fitted, and the inside of the forming tool (9) is provided with a forming chamber (12) for forming a work (13). Short lift cylinders (14, 15) for clamping the tools upon a forming process are arranged between the tool supports (7, 8) and the tools (10, 11), respectively. Pressure pads (20, 21) for correcting the internal pressure of the forming chamber (12) acting on pressure pistons (18, 19) in the short lift cylinders (14, 15) and tools (10, 11) are arranged between the pressure pistons (18, 19) and the tool (10) at the upper side and the tool (11) at the lower side.
