PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously display separated images on a plurality of display means in a configuration having the plurality of the display means without increasing a circuit scale compared to a configuration having a single display means.
SOLUTION: A first display unit 1 and a second display unit 2 are connected in parallel to a display signal generating unit 6. The display signal generating unit 6 supplies image data (RGB data) inputted from a DMA (direct memory access) unit 5 together with image synchronizing signals (horizontal synchronizing signals, vertical synchronizing signals and pixel clocks) according to predetermined timing instructed by a control unit 3 to the first display unit 1 and the second display unit 2 in parallel. In this stage, the image data and image synchronizing signals relating to images to be displayed in the first display unit 1 and the second display unit 2 are transferred in a time-sharing way through a common signal line.
