PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated plate improved in stain resistance and processability, and its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: The coated plate has, on a substrate, a surface layer film composed mainly of an alkoxide of one or more semimetal elements or metals selected from silicon, titanium, zirconium and boron, and/or a partial polycondensation product (I) produced by the hydrolysis of such an alkoxide of the semimetal elements or metals, and an underlayer film composed mainly of a binder resin (II) having a functional group that reacts with the alkoxide and/or its partial condensation product (I). It is essential that the boundary of both the films (layers) in the coated plate is in a state of a mixed layer.
