PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation device which reduces a time required for simulation by limiting a calculation area to the portion where a user wishes to know a state of wave propagation to perform the simulation, and using a simple method substituting for Rayleigh integration when finding a signal received by a sensor. SOLUTION: This simulation device is provided with: a transmission acoustic field file storing an already calculated transmission acoustic field in an area of the portion inside a material, where a user wishes to know the state of the wave propagation; and an arithmetic device 1 for calculating an inner product between the already calculated transmission acoustic field stored in the transmission acoustic field file and a scattered acoustic field found in each calculation step, adding the inner products to find an amplitude, and for performing the simulation with the amplitude as an amplitude value of the reception signal about each coordinates inside the area over a prescribed time range.
