PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent that rapidly removes oily magic, oily paint and oily stains on plastic materials generally used in architectural structures, civil engineering structures, inside and outside the house, in working places and plants without impairing substrates. SOLUTION: The detergent composition comprises a mixture obtained by mixing a glycol ether-based solvent with an alicyclic ester compound and a terpene-based solvent in a specific ratio. A glycol-based solvent having ≥150°C and ≤230°C boiling point is used and its mixing ratio is ≥50% and ≤90% of the total. In the detergent composition, the alicyclic ester compound is γ-butyrolactone. The detergent composition has the mixing ratio of the terpene-based solvent of ≥2% and ≤30% of the total.
