PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a fluorescent lamp based on a filament resistance or on surrounding temperature. SOLUTION: The control system is provided with a switch 24 and a control module 104, wherein this control module 104 is communicated with the switch 24, and samples a filament resistance of the fluorescent lamp 10 when the switch 24 is OFF, then makes to selectively increase the current to be supplied to the fluorescent lamp based on this filament resistance, surpassing a nominal current value when turned-on.
