PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method, and an apparatus for back-projection reconstruction of filter processing of digital tomosynthesis. SOLUTION: A system, a method, and an apparatus to reconstruct a fine and clear 3D image (118) from a series of 2D images by a special back-projection processing are provided by pre-filtering a two-dimensional (2D) image using a first group setting and then post-filtering a three-dimensional (3D) image using a setting of another group before back-projecting the 2D image so as to form the 3D image(118). In some embodiments, setting of a first group and setting of a second group are mutually synergistically optimized for providing enhancement to a region of interest structure in a subject.
