PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-defense shield of simple and inexpensive constitution capable of preventing an alarm from getting malfunctioned in normal time by improving a problem that the alarm tends to get into malfunction by simplifying the operation of the shield in emergency, mounting the shield on various places, and being easily attached and detached so that a body can be protected by quickly putting the shield thereon.
SOLUTION: A vertical insert opening is formed on a plate-shaped shield main body, a tip of a holding tool is inserted therein to keep the shield main body in an upright attitude, a displacement sensor is mounted for detecting the relative displacement of the shield main body and the holding tool, the alarm mounted on the shield main body, is connected with the shield main body, and the alarm is operated by the displacement sensor when the holding tool is drawn out from the insert opening while holding the shield main body.
