PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device which has a high converting efficiency and enables pulse oscillation even when direct pumping is hard to perform by a light source for optical pumping.
SOLUTION: The device comprises a first laser resonator which prepares a first solid laser medium for optical pumping and oscillates at a wavelength 1, a second laser medium of a plate type which is pumped by a laser beam in the resonator, and a second laser resonator which includes the plate type laser medium and oscillates at a wavelength 2. And the device is characterized in that a reflecting film by which pumping light is transmitted and a light of the wavelength 2 is reflected is prepared in a face a to which the pumping light of the first solid laser medium enters, in that a reflecting film by which the wavelength 1 is transmitted and the wavelength 2 is reflected is prepared in a face c in which a light of the wavelength 2 enters to the second laser medium, in that a reflecting film by which the wavelength 1 is reflected and the wavelength 2 is transmitted is prepared in a face d facing to the face c, in that a reflecting film by which the light of the wavelength 2 is mostly reflected and slightly transmitted is prepared in an output mirror of the second laser resonator, and in that heat is conducted to a dissipator through a bottom face section of the above-mentioned plate type second laser medium.
