PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To load disks having two or more diameters while achieving miniaturization and light weight.
SOLUTION: This disk loading device is provided with a slider 21 movable in the conveying direction of an optical disk, guide members 22, 23 disposed in the slider, moved in a direction orthogonal to the conveying direction of the optical disk, and pressed in a direction to approach each other, guide rollers 37a, 37b, 39a, 39b disposed in the guide members and engaged with the outer peripheral end of the optical disk in ends, rotary arms 24, 25 having base end parts rotatably attached to the slider, and a connection gear 35 disposed in the slider and moved so as to bring the pair of guide members close to or apart from each other. When the optical disk is inserted, the guide members are moved in the direction to be apart from each other by the connection gear, the rotary arms are rotated by the optical disk to engage the guide rollers, the slider is slid in the inserting direction of the optical disk, and the optical disk is moved to a rotating position in the state of being engaged and held with the guide rollers.
