PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the imaging quality in a cellular phone capable of performing imaging and to realize the lower cost thereof. SOLUTION: The cathode of the flash lamp 8 built into the cellular phone 1 is equipped with a base material arranged with a plurality of granular projections on the outer periphery and petal-shaped carbon flake groups formed on the respective surfaces of the respective projections. By constituting the imaging device, the sufficient luminance can be obtained on driving of a low voltage. Also, a flash starter 20 having a piezoelectric element 20g is made attachable and detachable to and from the cellular phone 1 and the imaging device is constituted to turn on a shutter in synchronization with the light emission of the flash lamp 8 by shaking the flash starter 20 and therefore the imaging defect due to hand movement is prevented.
