PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding device for winding a cross winding roll on a bobbin case having twist by making a thread wound so as to form thread reserve corresponding to twist of a thread wound around the cross winding roll. SOLUTION: A centering plate 4 has a suction passage 4.1 extending onto an inner side in the radial direction from its peripheral face, the suction passage is communicated with the inside of a hollow shaft 2, which is guided onto an outer side through a corresponding bobbin frame arm 1. A suction head A can come into additional contact with the hollow shaft in the axial direction, and a thread clip device 17/18 and a cutting blade 31 are provided in the suction head.
