PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a period of time required for performing a total photo-pheresis or apheresis therapy session. SOLUTION: A control deck and a system control and drive a blood which passes through an external blood circuit kit. In this case, a deck (1200) has an improved type mechanism which fixes a cassette at a designated position during the therapy. An improved type deck has a catch (1208) which freely slidably accepts the tab of the cassette, and at least one rotating clamp (1203 and 1223) which locks and fixes the cassette at a charging position. Also, this controlling and driving system for blood is equipped with an infrared communication function for transmitting/receiving real time data. In addition, an erection-designed tower reduces footprints of the system tower regarding the controlling and driving system for blood equipped with the erection-designed tower. Under this practicing embodiment, a centrifugal chamber (10) is provided at the upper section of the system, and in the meantime, the control deck and a photo-activation chamber (700) are provided on the base section of the system.
