In the present application, to occlude the vessels and to promote blood flow in the catheter (21), apparatus is provided. In this apparatus, catheter, covered with the outer sheath, comprising a multi-section self-expanding wire fabric (46) and obstructive distal section to form the expandable body in the radial direction (60). In the present application, a method using the apparatus of the present invention to remove emboli are also provided. In the present application, how to increase the flow in the catheter are also provided.
