内燃機関の燃料噴射装置に用いられる燃料噴射弁（１）は、アクチュエータ（１０）と、このアクチュエータ（１０）によって操作可能な、弁閉鎖体（４）を操作するための弁ニードル（３）とを有している。 弁閉鎖体（４）は、弁座体（５）に形成された弁座面（６）と共にシール座を形成している。 さらに、燃料噴射弁（１）は少なくとも１つの噴射開口（７）を有している。 この噴射開口（７）は弁座体（５）に形成されている。 燃料噴射弁（１）の下流側の端部（４２）には火炎防護スクリーン（３７）が配置されている。 この火炎防護スクリーン（３７）は噴射開口（７）を内燃機関の燃焼室に対して遮蔽している。

A fuel injection valve used in a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine (1) includes an actuator (10), operable by the actuator (10), a valve closing body (4) and the valve needle (3) for operating the the has. The valve closing body (4) forms a sealing seat together with a valve-seat member (5) to form a valve seat surface (6). Further, the fuel injection valve (1) has at least one injection opening (7). The injection opening (7) is formed in the valve seat body (5). The downstream end of the fuel injection valve (1) to (42) of the flame protection screen (37) is arranged. The flame protection screen (37) has been shielding injection opening (7) to the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine.
