Friction modifier liquid composition comprising characteristic Toshikatsu holding strength agent that has any one of the high positive friction characteristics or low natural friction properties in the present invention is provided. Further the solid lubricant to the friction modifier liquid compositions, wetting agents, may include other components such as consistency change and preservatives. The friction modifier liquid composition can be used to alter the frictional characteristics between the rotational sliding contact surfaces which such steel wheels and rail system, including the mass transit cargo system.
