PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining, by an analytical liquid chromatography, additive package components, and the existence and concentration of concentrated matter, in a liquid hydrocarbon. SOLUTION: The identity and concentration of an additive package in a liquid hydrocarbon matrix are measured by an analytical liquid chromatography. This is performed by preparing a sample, passing it through a separation means and at least one detector means, signals are generated that permit identification and quantitative measurement of additives in a liquid hydrocarbon matrix.
