PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bankbook handling device which carries out optimum and high-quality printing on a medium such as a bankbook or the like, depending on a preprinted color and a material of the medium.
SOLUTION: The medium such as the bankbook to be handled by the bankbooks handling device, has information recorded thereon indicative of the preprinted color and the material of a printing zone at a predetermined location of the medium beforehand. Then the bankbook handling device refers to the information at the time of printing, and controls the amount of ink ejected from an inkjet head and ink mixing ratio to the optimum.
