PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform precise mirror surface cylindrical grinding in a short time without using an abrasive grinder, to remarkably decrease a cost in a plating line, to remarkably increase the number of processing pieces, and in particular, to enable an introduction of an economical printing plate making installation for reusing used printing rolls.
SOLUTION: A copper sulfate plating is exposed by subjecting the plate of the used printing roll to precise cylindrical machining by using a lathe, and then, a copper sulfate plating is performed to recover the diameter of the roll. Then, the copper sulfate plating surface is finished to a mirror surface by electrolytic abrasive polishing, and then, a cell is formed. Successively, hard plating is performed for securing a plate wear, and finally, burrs of the plating generated on the contour of the cell are eliminated by paper polishing.
