PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method of compensating the aging of an OLED device. SOLUTION: In this method to compensate the aging by adjusting a voltage applied to the pixel of an OLED display device, (a) an accumulated quantity of trapped positive charges is measured to generate a signal representing the accumulated quantity, and (b) the voltage applied to the pixel of the OLED is adjusted in accordance with the signal.
