PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control unit which makes it possible to send a tape stably and at high speed by controlling rotation of each reel motor so that the voltage combining the voltage generated in connection with tension of a tape engaged with two reel motors and an axial load etc. peculiar to the reel motor, and the voltage generated by rotation of the reel motors may have a surplus against driving voltage of the reel motor. SOLUTION: A supply side reel motor 1 (hereinafter referred to as S reel motor) supplies a tape 9. A take-up side reel motor 2 (hereinafter referred to as T reel motor) takes up the tape 9. An S reel motor drive 3 performs rotation drive of the S reel motor. A T reel motor drive 4 performs rotation drive of the T reel motor. A motor power source 6 supplies electric power to rotate the S reel motor and the T reel motor. A reel motor controller 5 controls the rotation of the S reel motor and the T reel motor based on electric potential difference between the voltage output from the S reel motor and the T reel motor and the voltage output from the motor power source 6.
