PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency/controllability for driving motor in a traverse operation by correcting a rotor position for a stator exciting phase.
SOLUTION: In this method, the position of the traverse guide and the rotor position of the motor for driving the traverse guide are made to correspond to each other and a position detection means for detecting the position of the traverse guide is provided, the traverse guide is moved before the traverse operation, an origin is specified based on the detection result of the detection means, and the origin is determined. Before the traverse operation, a step 100 in which the rotor is stopped at a facing position to the prescribed exciting phase of the stator, and a relation of the prescribed exciting phase and the detection result of the position detection means is specified is provided.
