PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic substance forming phase transition substance microcapsules and a method for forming the microcapsules, especially a method for forming the phase transition substance microcapsules used in a fabric. SOLUTION: This synthetic substance for forming the phase transition substance microcapsules contains an aqueous polyurethane solution having 5-40wt.% concentration and floating on water, a phase transition substance, a lipophilic monomer and a solid wax, wherein the wt.% concentration of the lipophilic monomer dissolved in the phase transition substance is approximately between 3-12%, and a weight ratio of the lipophilic monomer to the polyurethane floating on water is approximately between 25-50%.
