PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag for a sanitary article, which has a top face made difficult for foreign matters to accumulate thereon and the foreign matters can be removed easily even if it accumulates on the top face.
SOLUTION: The packaging bag comprises a bag body 2 having the top face 20, a front face 21, and a back face 22, which are formed by folding a sheet-like synthetic resin packaging material 10 having a thickness of 40-100 μm. The bag body 2 also includes both side faces 23, 24, which are formed in such a way that triangular first side face forming strips 11a consecutively formed on both sides of a top face forming portion 11 in the packaging material 10, trapezoid second side face forming strips 12a consecutively formed on both sides of a front face forming portion 12 in the packaging material 10, and trapezoid third side face forming strips 13a consecutively formed on both sides of a back face forming portion 13 are joined to each other to form V-shaped joints, with the side face forming strips 12a and the side face forming strips 13a joined together vertically, respectively.
