PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the image display of previously stored video data and the image display of video data obtained from the outside with a constitution of a low power consumption, a small circuit scale and high general applicability.
SOLUTION: A timing signal selection part 124 outputs a frame timing signal outputted from a timing signal generation part 123 to a driving part 128 and outputs a read timing signal for controlling timing for reading out video data stored in a storage part 126 and supplying the read video data to the driving part 128 to a video reading part 127. When the read timing signal is outputted from the timing signal selection part 124, the video data reading part 127 reads out the video data from the storage part 126 in accordance with timing specified by the read timing signal and outputs the read video data to the driving part 128. The driving part 128 outputs the video data to a video display part 129 at the timing of the frame timing signal outputted from the timing signal selection part 124.
