PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube in which deformation and displacement of the correction electrode plate of flat plate-shape forming the electrostatic quadrupole lens are avoided and which has superior focus characteristics throughout the screen.
SOLUTION: The color cathode-ray tube comprises an electron gun that has equipped a reinforcement mechanism which can avoid deformation and displacement of the correction electrode plate QPH of flat plate-shape on the correction electrode plate QPH of flat plate-shape that forms the electrostatic quadrupole lens.
